We already know Donald is corrupt to the core. We already know he’s a liar, a traitorous cheat. We already know he holds deep contempt for the military and he’s a serial sexual pig. Now with Bob Woodward’s new book, “Rage,” the revered nonpartisan reporter and historian has unveiled indisputable, unparalleled Trumpian presidential depravity: a willingness to allow Americans to die so he can secure reelection — and it’s on tape. We already know Donald is corrupt to the core. An impeachment and a Mueller report proved that (notwithstanding GOP obstruction and obfuscation of both). We already know he’s a liar, with 20,000-and-counting whoppers documented since Inauguration Day. We already know he’s a traitorous cheat. Intelligence community whistleblower accounts of suppressing Russian 2020 election interference analysis and white supremacist threat warnings corroborate that.

We already know he holds deep contempt for the military: members who were injured, killed, or captured; soldiers who failed to evade the draft; and his “bunch of dopes and babies” generals. We already know he’s a serial sexual pig through his unguarded machismo on an Access Hollywood video and 20-plus-and-counting sexual assault lawsuits.

Now with Bob Woodward’s new book, Rage, the revered nonpartisan reporter and historian has unveiled indisputable, unparalleled Trumpian presidential depravity: a willingness to allow Americans to die so he can secure reelection — also on tape.

Make no mistake: President Trump played down, denied, and belittled the pandemic danger from its inception; knowingly lied to the country; knowingly caused tens of thousands of needless deaths to protect “his” economy — his sole lifeline to reelection — to avoid near-certain indictment after leaving office.

Astonishingly, Bob’s book also tells us that Trump revealed to Woodward the existence of a super-secret nuclear weapons system. When the author confirmed this with top military officials, they were shocked and appalled at the president’s loose-lipped carelessness. Rage also reveals that Donald’s Director of National Intelligence Dan Coats (March 2017 – August 2019), though he couldn’t prove it, felt certain that Russian President Vladimir Putin had “something” on Trump, some form of kompromat that contained the only explanation for Donald’s consistent, obsequious acquiescence to Putin. Defense Secretary Gen. Jim Mattis told Coats in May 2019, “Maybe at some point we’re going to have to stand up and speak out. There may be a time when we have to take collective action.”

Not jailbirds and pardon-whores like Michael Flynn, former national security adviser (perjury, Russian election-help enabling); Rick Gates, 2016 deputy campaign manager (fraud); Paul Manafort, 2016 second campaign manager (fraud, Russian election-help enabling); George Papadopoulos, 2016 campaign adviser (perjury); Roger Stone, 2016 campaign adviser, lifelong ally (perjury, Russian election-help enabling); Michael Cohen, former personal attorney-fixer (fraud); Louis DeJoy, soon-to-be-indicted postmaster general (campaign finance violation); and Steve Bannon, 2016 third campaign manager, top adviser (“build-the-wall” fraud).

Remember the “businessman” argument, that Donald was so successful in business that he was sure to run America the same way, always winning?
